Out of the night exhibition

Exhibited at the Arataki Visitor Centre, Auckland, during July & August 2018

Shot at night and illuminated by light boxes,

the photos give dramatic exposure to the pou

whenua, located throughout the Waitākere.

Their stories were accompanied by recordings

of traditional music and sounds of the

great forest of Tiriwa.
